About

I clearly remember the day that I was convicted of being a sinner in need of the Saviour. I was a young boy of almost 10 years of age. We attended Calvary Baptist Church of Holland, MI, and it was during the children’s church. The message was on Lazarus being raised from the dead, and I realized that it was I who needed to be made alive through Jesus Christ. I gave my heart and life to Jesus that day.

I continued faithful to the Lord throughout my teen years, but as a young adult, I entered the Air Force and began a journey away from serving the Lord. It would take nearly 9 years for the Lord to chasten me to the point that I would repent and return to Him.

Two years after returning to the Lord and being faithful once again, I received the call to ministry. I surrendered to serve the Lord in any way except as a pastor. It took me a year of being used very little for me to return to the altar and surrender to whatever the Lord wanted of me. It was at that point that the Lord began opening doors and leading me to pastoring my first church in Ellisville, MS. I would remain in the pastorate for the next 28 years, serving in five different churches.

In June of 2025, the Lord allowed me to step out of the pastorate and return to MS to be close to two of my daughters and nine of my grandchildren. He has also clarified the new ministry He has for me in evangelism. I now am making myself available to help churches. I especially want to help smaller churches by doing pulpit supply or revivals. If a church cannot afford to finance a revival, I am willing to come at my own expense to help them.

It is my desire to come along side of pastors to help equip the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ!
